Kareena Kapoor is all set to take her relationship with Saif to another level. She’ll be visiting his ancestral village Pataudi in Haryana. A privilege that none of Saif ladies from the past have been given. Confesses Saif, “Yes, Kareena has been invited to Pataudi. It’d have been earlier. But it’s too hot right now. Winter is when our family reunions happen every year. And Kareena is now part of the family. My parents are extremely fond of Kareena.” Sighs Saif, “This relationship is ‘IT’ for me. Today I feel very settled and very happy. Though a bit lonely. And when I’ve bad days I feel I’m being ungrateful. I’m now looking forward to settling down with Kareena. Our marriage will happen very shortly as soon as we both have a little less work on hand and we can give the marriage quality time. Also, her family has to be ready for our marriage.” Saif is very happy with Kareena’s mom. “We’re very close. She has been really gracious in inviting me into her family.
She’s made sure I’m part of her family. I’ve also met Daboo Uncle a few times, shared friendly drinks with her. As for Karisma, I think she’s the sweetest girl ever in the world. I’m deeply fond of both Karisma and her husband Sanjay. They’re truly wonderful people. It`s completely different from ‘Tashan’, ‘Golmaal Returns’ and ‘Jab We Met’. I play a surgeon and a supermodel in ‘Kambakht Ishq’ and my styling has been done keeping my character in mind. I always discuss my roles with Lolo and when I asked her about ‘Kambakht Ishq’, she told me to get inspiration from Sarah Jessica`s Parker`s look in ‘Sex And The City’. Lolo loves watching the TV serial and Sarah`s cool, chic, glamorous and yet simple styles.”

Neha Dhupia thinks that marriage with boyfriend and ace squash player Ritwik Bhattacharya can wait when her career is going great guns now after a shaky start.

The ex beauty queen, who is known for her bold roles in films like Julie and Sheesha and equally bold statements like ‘opinions are like assholes, everybody has one!’ is out to surprise the audiences again with a totally new image in Shivam Nair’s upcoming Maharathi.

The actress, sounds a lot more confident in recent times with box-office hits like Singh is Kinng and Mithya under her belt, as she steps to conquer new territories.

Neha plays a vampish role in Maharathi and she seems pretty kicked about trying out something different.

“I play an actress who is very ambitious and is married to a film producer played by Naseeruddin Shah.”

Wife to Naseeruddin Shah? Now that’s an achievement, we say! And Neha feels absolutely honoured too to have worked with a senior actor like Naseeruddin Shah and also Paresh Rawal in the film. “I feel blessed to have worked and learned from such fantastic performers,” says Neha.

Her forthcoming films (and a long list at that) will have her playing roles as different as chalk and cheese too. “I’m doing Raat Gayi Baat Gayi with Rajat Kapoor, which has been written by Saurabh Shukla. I have an interesting role in Raftaar opposite Emraan Hashmi where I play the owner of a news channel. I am also starting work in a Priyadarshan film called De Dhana Dhan in which I play a con girl and is an out and out comedy. Then I also have a film with Vinay Pathak called Papu Can’t Dance Saala,” counts off Neha.

So that means no wedding bells (with longstanding boyfriend and squash champion Ritwik Bhattacharya) ringing in the near future? “I have no plans of marriage yet. But we share a fabulous relationship and we are not answerable to anyone,” is her crisp reply.

Delhi Belly is not a sex comedy: Imran Khan

Ranbir Kapoor had opted out of Delhi Belly, saying he wouldn’t be able to watch the film with his parents. Imran Khan, on the other hand, is cool with the sexual content of his uncle Aamir Khan’s English film, but maintains it is not a sex comedy.

“I’d have no problem watching it with my mom or girlfriend. I’ve a cool rapport with my mom,” Imran told IANS.

Imran rejects the notion that Delhi Belly is a sex comedy. “It’s a caper comedy. But, yes, the language is on the stronger side,” he said.

Imran has lost weight and is looking gaunt for his role in Delhi Belly, which he insists is being made for creative reasons. He admits that since it is in English, it was bound to have a limited appeal.

“This new gaunt look is for Delhi Belly. I needed to lose that muscular look. So I’ve stopped gyming completely. I’m not exercising at all. No lifting of weights. And I’m eating as much as I want because I’m not prone to fat at all,” said Imran, who won many hearts with his chocolate boy looks in his debut Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na.

“For Kidnap and Luck, I needed a bulkier role. I played a daredevil and had to jump off the 20th floor. I insisted on doing it myself although the body-double was present. I got a shouting afterwards from my mom, girlfriend and Sanjay Dutt. In fact, Sanjay Dutt phoned Aamir to complain. After having jumped from that height, I’ve lost the fear of stunts,” he said.

But he did get a dressing down from uncle Aamir.

“It’s true Aamir was unhappy when he heard that I insisted on performing my own stunt. He called me over and said, ‘You’ve to be more responsible towards yourself and your family.’

Imran says the stunts always look more real when an actor performs them himself.

“You can always tell the difference between an actor doing it and a double doing it. So I’ll think about it. But for now I’ve had enough of stunts. I want to take a break and do something lighter. Delhi Belly is just the break I needed.”

Two back-to-back action films, and Imran is now saying goodbye to the genre for a while.

“I got no chance to do any stunts in Jaane Tu…. I made up for that in Kidnap and Luck. Now in Delhi Belly, I’ve no action scenes.

“My next action film will have to be really big. I grew up being thrilled by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis. And I had decided if I do those kinds of stunts, I’d do them on my own,” Imran said.

According to sources, “Deepika Padukone had got the news from her sources about Ranbir’s growing proximity with Katrina, on and off the sets of Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Ajab…’ during the two month shooting schedule in Ooty. Deepika got very insecure when her sources from the sets of the same film told her about what was happening between the two in the Goa schedule.”
The source further added, “It is learnt that during the Goa shoot both Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif appeared more than comfortable with each other than before, even in front of the unit members on the sets. Deepika Padukone went to Goa straightaway after hearing the news. During her one day trip she met her source and came back to Mumbai.”
Apparently Ranbir tried to sought out the issue but the two ended up fighting like cats and dogs and ceased the conversation on a real bitter note. Well, we really wonder if Salman’s aware of the news?

According to sources, “Deepika Padukone had got the news from her sources about Ranbir’s growing proximity with Katrina, on and off the sets of Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Ajab…’ during the two month shooting schedule in Ooty. Deepika got very insecure when her sources from the sets of the same film told her about what was happening between the two in the Goa schedule.”

Size zero is out for actress Kareena Kapoor. In her next release, “Kambakht Ishq”, she plays a surgeon who moonlights as a supermodel and for it she has put on extra pounds.
“I weigh 54 kg now, which for a girl of my height is quite fine. People used to wonder what ’size zero’ is and I’d joke, ‘Just look at me’. I don’t want that any more. I want to look like a normal healthy girl. My forthcoming releases required me to get back to a fuller shape,” said Kareena, who sported size zero in “Tashan” and “Golmaal Returns”.
“In ‘Kambakht Ishq’, my character flies to Italy to become a supermodel to support herself financially. I didn’t want to play the character looking like an international model because she’s basically in another profession. So she can’t really have the figure of Victoria Beckham, can she? I had to look more filled up,” she told reporters.
In “Mr & Mrs Khanna” too, Kareena is sporting the same look.
“Again, for my next release ‘Mr & Mrs Khanna’ with Salman Khan, I play a wife. So I wanted to look more filled up. Not that wives can’t be curvaceous. The one I played in ‘Golmaal Returns’ certainly was,” she said.

Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi has been in the news lately for two reason: posing naked in Allure and for co-founding the Endometriosis Foundation of America.
Padma has decided to take her personal experiences of her medical battle with endometriosis and raise awareness on the condition. Endometriosis is a women’s condition that affects fertility but can be treated with surgery. It is fairly common, however many women are not aware and are not getting tested. Padma was under the care of Dr. Tamer Seckin, had the surgery and has made a full recovery. Dr. Seckin and Padma have co-founded the Endometriosis Foundation of America together.
“It’s a very personal issue,” Padma Lakshmi told People Magazine. “It has to do with the most private aspect of a woman’s life, and when I had to have surgery, I had to miss work and explain why. I just found that in talking to people, not many people knew what it was.”

“It’s probably the most prevalent disease” affecting reproductive health, explains Dr. Tamer Seckin. “It’s also the most misunderstood, misdiagnosed, mismanaged and mistreated. And women, because of that, end up being infertile and in chronic pain.”
On April 20, Padma Lakshmi and Dr. Tamer Seckin will host the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s first fundraiser, “The Blossom Ball,” at the New York’s Prince George Ballroom in Manhattan.

That’s not all the 38-year-old model and Top Chef host is up to these days. On April 21, Allure’s ‘Naked Truth’ feature will hit newsstands and Padma is one of five celebrities who decided to bare it all. In the issue, she talks about preparing for the shoot and says, “I exercised a little bit extra, but I actually think I look better when I have a little bit of weight on-my breasts are fuller, and I’m curvier than when I’m at my thinnest.”
